Mimi Tang, Certified Financial Planner, CFP CLU CHFC Mimi Tang has over 25 years experience in the financial services industry. She started her career as a money market trader at a bank in the Philippines. Later she moved on to become a Financial Planner and Managing Partner at a branch of one of the largest financial institutions in Canada. Most recently she was an insurance consultant for a subsidiary of the Canadian Medical Association.

Mimi Tang has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Banking and Finance, 1973), and holds the designations of Certified Financial Planner (1991), Chartered Life Underwriter (1997), and Chartered Financial Consultant (1998). She is a member of the Million Dollar Round table for 2003-2004 (www.mdrt.com). She has completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2004. Mimi completed an Investment Management Techniques Course on December 5, 2006.

Mimi Tang currently serves on the finance committee of her local Church, St. Anthony's Parish in West Vancouver and is also presently co-chair of Project Advance of said Parish. She currently sits on the Board of St. Mark's College and Corpus Christi at the University of British Columbia. In 2003, Mimi was Co-Chair for the Saint Anthony's School Building Fund Campaign. Mimi also served as treasurer of the North Shore Toastmaster's 1085 in West Vancouver, British Columbia from 2002-2004.
